1. About these terms

These terms are an agreement between you and Leverrs (“we”). If you're under 18, please read them with your parent or carer, who agrees to them for you. Our privacy notice explains how we use personal information.

2. Your account

• Give accurate details, and don't use your full name, email or school in your username.
• Keep your password private. You're responsible for what happens on your account.
• Under 13s need a parent or carer's agreement to join.
• Schools and tutors who create accounts for learners must have the right to do so.

3. Using Leverrs fairly

Please don't try to break, overload or get around the security of Leverrs, copy its content to sell or publish elsewhere, use it to bully or upset anyone, or put personal information about yourself or others into names, chats or shared cards. We may pause or close accounts that break these rules.

4. The AI tutor and AI teacher

Our AI tutor and AI teacher are computer programs, not people. They're designed to explain and guide, but they can get things wrong. They're not a substitute for a teacher, and they can't give medical, legal or emergency help.

5. Content

Lessons, questions, practice papers, games and artwork on Leverrs belong to us or the people who license them to us. You may use them for your own learning. Code you write in the Python Lab is yours.

6. Memberships and payment

Each child gets a free trial of 3 days with everything unlocked. After the trial, a parent or carer can buy a membership for that child: $59 a month or $590 a year. Prices are in US dollars and are charged by card through our payment provider; your bank may show the amount in pounds, which can change with the exchange rate.

A membership renews automatically at the end of each month or year until it's cancelled. You can cancel at any time from the membership page linked in our emails and on the parent dashboard; the membership then stays active until the end of the period you've paid for. If you cancel within 14 days of first starting a membership, we'll refund the part you haven't used.

If we change our prices, a membership you already have keeps its price. Without a membership, a child keeps their account and progress.

7. Our responsibility to you

We work hard to keep Leverrs accurate and available, but we can't promise it will always be error-free or uninterrupted, or guarantee exam results. Nothing in these terms limits liability that can't be limited by law, including for death or personal injury caused by negligence, or your rights as a consumer.

8. Ending your account

You can delete your account at any time in Settings. We may close accounts that break these terms, or that haven't been used for 2 years, as described in our privacy notice.

9. Law

These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales. If you live elsewhere in the UK, you can also bring a claim in your local courts.
