Safeguarding
Keeping children safe
Leverrs is built for learners from primary school to GCSE, so safety is designed in from the start.
How Leverrs is designed
- No messaging between children. There is no chat, no comments and no direct messages.
- Friends by code only. Children can't search for each other. A friend is added only with a code a child chooses to share, and challenges are quizzes with the same questions, nothing more.
- No photos or contact details. Avatars are drawn characters. We don't ask children for emails, phone numbers or photos.
- Shared cards are safe. Achievement cards never show surnames, schools or photos.
- The AI tutor and teacher keep to schoolwork, guide rather than hand over answers, and are clearly labelled as AI.
- Grown-ups can see progress. Parents link to their child with a family code; teachers see their class.
- Accounts can be paused. We can block any account straight away if we're worried.
